OUR COMMITTEE
Grays Point Activity Centre is a community based not-for-profit organisation led by the Management Committee. Becoming a member of the committee provides an opportunity for parents to use their knowledge and expertise for overseeing the running of the centre.
Quality care requires families and staff to collaborate and be partners in providing the best for our children. We value the diversity that each family brings to our Centre and invite everyone to share their ideas, skills and information to enrich our environment.

A little info about myself...
I am a mother of two, a wife and a high school Mathematics teacher. I currently teach at a selective boys high school. I have been teaching with the Department of Education since 1994 and really enjoy my job.
My favourite thing to do when I was a child was:
Being with my friends and doing well at school.
Prior to having children I loved to travel, read and photography.
Why I decided to volunteer on the Management Committee…
As a working member and parent of the community , I require the Service GPAC provides. I unfortunately do not have flexible working hours and require morning and afternoon care, as many families do. I have watched the Centre grow and change over the years and understand the active role the GPAC Committee has as a Parent and Community run Service, I believe it it my time to step up. I hope I can do the role justice after Kate (previous Treasurer)!
